Hello, I'm Vuh Nilla. I used to rap under a different moniker a long time ago, but I fell out of practice as life got busy. I'm looking to start recording again and have been a follower of nerdcore since rhymetorrents vol 1, even visited this site every once and a while for music  8). I got into hip-hop when I was a youngster on napster with a cd-r drive. As hip-hop progressed to gangsta misogynistic snuff and brag tracks I became extremely disinterested even though I still loved the song under the lyrics. I steered clear of most rap until I found the first rhymetorrents cd on the bittorrent website for free and fell in love  :'(.

There's a bit about me, glad to be here  ;D,

Nilla
Edit: typo: Changed DVD-R to CD-R

funny story, i had listend to mc chris for years with NO IDEA of what nerdcore was, then one day on the pirates bay i found a rhymetorrents cd by accident and was so intrigued that i read that stupid txt file i usually skip, found rhymetorrents.org, and the rest is history!

You know RhymeTorrents.org is still up, the BBS doesn't get much traffic, but they are still a good hub for nerdcore.

I loved napster, and even though I was primarily metal, I boycotted metallica after their lil stunt in the 90's. I liked MC Chris's stuff, again up untill he sued lars and YT (I don't like money grubbing musicians I guess...).

Nice to meet you, brother

I'm not sure he sued either of them, I know YT and Chris had a HUGE beef for the longest time.

As far as lars and chris, they collabed on roomate from hell on the graduate ep. After it was released for a little while Chris wanted a shit ton of money for it or he was gonna sue him.

I didn't know you guys had RT.org, I haven't been on there for a while :o
